Corinne Holloway was born in 1991 in Westerville, Ohio. Breaking with social norms, Holloway's parents decided to home school her. Despite her mother's best efforts, much of her math work devolved into doodling.*
Although she loved art throughout her pre-undergraduate school, Holloway began college pursuing a Classic Literature and Languages degree at Texas Tech University (at this time, she did pursue a minor in art “for fun”). After transferring to West Texas A&M University in 2011, Holloway finally graduated summa cum laude with a B.F.A. in Painting and a minor in Drawing in May 2014.
Holloway is currently working as a studio artist in Philadelphia, PA where she lives with her husband and their dog Ajax - who likes to shed an inordinate amount and make them vacuum a lot.
*She did actually pass all of her math classes... it just took extra book breaks and a few new sets of pencils to do so.
